This week we have lots of lovely learning for you on the Year 4 pages. Our English this week is based on probably one of the funniest books for children ever written, "The Twits" by Roald Dahl. I always chuckle at the antics of Mr and Mrs Twit and would have loved to have asked Mr Dahl if he tried any of them out when he was writing his book- for research purposes only, of course!
Also have a go at the humanities summer months challenge. My favourite month is August (no clues as to why) and so I have been looking at remarkable events in this month. On the 1st of August in 1838 slavery was abolished in the British Empire and in 1871 we had the first August Bank Holiday.
Have fun with your learning this week,
We are missing you all,
Miss Liddell, Mrs Cullen, Mrs Fensome, Mrs Allsuch and Mrs McCarthy
