Hello Year 4,
We hope you enjoyed giving last week's learning a go. Unfortunately, the weather hasn't been as glorious as it was last week but we've made sure the tasks for this week will keep you occupied even if it's a rainy, dreary day outside. Be sure to check out your topic challenge this week (all of the files are in the additional activities page) as we will be learning all about VE Day. Don't worry if you're not sure what this is as you certainly will by Friday! Look very carefully and you might even find some photographs of Borehamwood from 1945! Can you spot any familiar places?
We understand that learning from home can be a little bit challenging, but give it a go and try your hardest. Make sure you are looking after yourselves and your families and being kind to the people around you. We have included a lovely book called "The Book of Hopes" on our additional activities page which includes lots of stories and poems from some of our favourite authors - perhaps you can make someone else smile by reading to them? Be sure to let us know which is your favourite!
