Finished! The new KS2 playground equipment is installed!

New equipment hits the KS2 playground!!

You may have noticed the exciting new playground equipment that has recently been installed on our KS2 playground. This is a result of all our children’s hard work with their fundraising efforts (and some very kind donations from parents) and also a winning grant from Tesco Stronger Starts. Please can we say a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone that helped raise the money for this, including an exceptionally kind member of the public that nominated us for the Golden Grant. Without this person’s kindness we would not have had the funds to complete this project yet. The children have been very eager to use it, and we have been introducing it to them properly during the school day whilst being supervised by our staffing team. They are now all inducted and are getting fitter and fitter each break time.

We kindly ask that children—including younger siblings and those not attending our school—do not use this equipment before school or at the end of the day while waiting for pick-up. The equipment is for use only by our pupils and only under staff supervision, which we are unable to provide outside of school hours (8:40am–3:15pm).
