Online Safety

E-Safety

As technology becomes progressively more apparent in our modern society, including everyday life, knowing how to stay safe in an online world has never been so vital.

At Meryfield, we use a scheme called “Project Evolve” which provides a thorough framework that supports and develops children’s knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes across all areas of their online lives. From the early years through to Year 6, learning is clearly mapped to children’s development, ensuring key themes such as  online relationships and digital wellbeing are revisited and built upon over time allowing the children to fully consolidate their learning and understanding.

Safer Internet Day - 10th February 2026

Safer Internet Day - Tuesday 10th February 2026

On Tuesday 10th February we celebrated Safer Internet Day. Throughout the day the children engaged within a variety of activities allowing them to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence within many areas linked to staying safe online. Some children sang songs, others used role play and many created pieces of written work; all of this allowed the children to consolidate the important messages of staying safe online.

Please see below for some examples of work fromEYFS through to Yr6:
