The Agora Learning Partnership is an inclusive, collaborative and forward looking Trust where we all work together, learn together and succeed together in order to give all of the children in our academies the best possible education and learning opportunities.

Our multi-academy trust (MAT) was originally set-up by Herts for Learning (HfL), which is a company that provides a range of services to schools in Hertfordshire. As our multi-academy trust is now fully established and as we operate separately from HfL, the Trustees and HfL agreed that it made sense to change the name of our MAT. Therefore, at the beginning of the Autumn Term 2019, the name of our MAT changed from ‘Herts for Learning’ to ‘Agora Learning Partnership’. You will start to see us using this new name when we mention the multi academy trust, for example on our school website, our policies and on letters. The word ‘agora’ is an ancient one which means a place for meeting and coming together. Therefore the name Agora Learning Partnership was chosen as it reflects the way schools in the MAT come together to learn and work in partnership for the benefit of the all the children. In addition, we continue to work with HfL and other schools in Hertfordshire, as we have always done.
