Friends of Meryfield - Parents Association
Friends of Meryfield (FOM) is a ParentTeacher Committee aiming to strengthen the
community around Meryfield school.
We organise a range of social and fundraising events, and enable parents to get
involved with the school and contribute to its success. Meryfield children and their
families are always at the heart of every event, and most of our fundraising is carried
out for the school itself, to provide extra resources or facilities that aren’t covered by
government funds.
We are run by a group of volunteers, mostly parents of children at the school, and are
always delighted to welcome new members to our team. There are a range of ways
you can get involved, from helping out occasionally to joining our committee and
shaping what we do. We also have a FaceBook page and our own mailing list so you
can keep in touch with what we’re doing.
If you’d like to join us, or have ideas or comments, we look forward to hearing from you
via email or FaceBook, or come along and meet us at one of our meetings or coffee
mornings.
