How to keep your child safe online during home learning:

Keeping your children safe online:

Technology is a fantastic tool to help children be able to continue to learn from home. Each class page contains links to helpful websites to support learning, these are checked by staff before they are added to the class page.

However to keep your child safe online it is really important that you have appropriate parental controls and filters in place.  Despite the controls, it is very important that you supervise them whilst using the internet.

Be confident that you know which websites or apps your children are accessing and that they are age appropriate.

When working online it is essential that children know how to report any concerns that they have.

How to report concerns:

  • Call or e-mail school office.
  • The websites listed below will signpost children towards age appropriate practical support :

  •  CEOP  for advice on making a report about online abuse
