Welcome to Nursery!

Our topic for this half term is people who help us.  

The children will have opportunities to talk about people who are special to them, particularly within their families and the different ways they help and care for them.

We will also explore who helps them at school and as the topic develops, we will extend our thinking to the local community, learning about the important roles people play in helping others.

We will focus on a range of occupations including firefighters, doctors, nurses, paramedics and police officers and through discussions, stories and engaging role play experiences the children will develop a deeper understanding of these professions.
