Nursery

Our topic for this half term is Being Fit and Healthy. The experiences and activities planned will help the children to develop a deeper understanding of how to keep their bodies fit and healthy. We will read a variety to texts to support the learning, including Whiffy Wilson which is a fun story about a wolf who was not keen on keeping clean.  

We will have the opportunity to test our strength and fitness in our role play gyms and talk about which foods are healthy and which foods are not. We will also explore the importance of brushing our teeth and the other ways to maintain our personal hygiene.

We will continue to develop our creative skills during our child-initiated learning times and through the activities in the Access Art scheme, we will discover how to create pieces of artwork using resources we can find in the natural world.
