Welcome to Year 5!
This term our main theme is
The Anglo Saxon and Viking Struggle
In English, we will be working on improving our sentence structure by studying extracts from key texts and short films.
In Maths, we will be focusing place value and the four operations. Please help to support the children with their continued practicing of their times table.
Our History will be a topic exploring the Anglo Saxon and Viking Struggle and in Geography we will be learning to interpret maps. Our Science topics will be Forces and Earth and Space.
Our curriculum maps shows full coverage of the other topics we will be covering this term.
