Year 5
Welcome to Year 5!
This term our main theme is
Ancient Greece and Athens.
In English, we will be continuing to improve our sentence structure by studying extracts from key texts and short films.
In Maths, we will be focusing on shape, units of measure and unit conversion. Please help to support the children with their continued practicing of their times tables which supports them in every aspect of maths.
In History, we will be exploring Ancient Greece with the children taking part in a History off the Page day to enhance their learning. In Geography we will be learning about Athens. Our Science topics will be Properties and Changes of Materials.
