Big Top
We are very fortunate to have an After School Club run on site by ‘The Big Top’ who are an Ofsted registered company, recently graded as ‘Outstanding’ in October 2014. It also has the Herts Quality Standard Award.
Although this is privately managed, it is staffed mainly by school staff. The Club runs daily from 3.15pm - 5.00pm and is available to all children from Reception to Year 6.
Children are provided with a healthy light tea. A variety of games and books are available for them to enjoy as well as activities run nightly ranging from cookery to art and crafts. There is also the opportunity to get more active with football, badminton, basketball and hockey as well as the chance to use a Playstation and Wii.
To use the club children have to be registered initially and then are welcome to make either regular bookings or just occasional ones.
